I love green smoothies! They are so good for you and taste amazing. They are jam packed with antioxidants and vitamins. So adding this drink to your diet is really good for your skin too.
I’m a mum of three kids so I find myself busy entertaining them. To be able to make one quickly I prepare them a week in advance. I juice or blend a bunch of greens and place it in an ice cube tray. So when I create the drink I use a couple of cubes add coconut water, mango, spinach and a little almond milk or greek yogurt. Blend it all up and drink away.
The greens I prepare: Kale, Parsley, Cucumber, Ginger, Lemon, Green Apple. Every now and then I add something extra: Mint, Rainbow Chard, Turnip Greens, Bok Choy. According to taste you can add any kind of other green vegetables: Swiss Chard, Mustard Greens, Lettuce, Celery, Cabbage, Collard Greens etc
